About this policy
MiniBook is a business management and booking service for photographers. This policy explains how MiniBook collects, uses, stores and shares personal information through the MiniBook app, public booking pages and minibook.com.au.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@minibook.com.au.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as your name, email address and phone number.
- Business profile information, branding, packages, availability and payment instructions.
- Client and booking information entered by a photographer or submitted through a public booking page, including names, contact details, appointment details, notes and payment status.
- Messages and contact details submitted through our website or support channels.
- Technical information needed to provide and protect the service, such as request logs, device information and security events.
- Photos or files you choose to upload or save. MiniBook only requests device access when you use a related feature.
How we use information
We use personal information to create and secure accounts, sync business data, operate booking pages, send booking and service emails, provide support, improve reliability, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and overseas processing
MiniBook uses trusted providers to operate the service, including Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, Vercel for website hosting, Resend for transactional email, Migadu for business email, and Apple for app distribution and device services. These providers may process information in Australia or other countries under their own security and privacy commitments.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer where appropriate safeguards apply.
Photographers and their clients
A photographer using MiniBook is responsible for the client information they collect and for giving any notices or obtaining any permissions required for their business. If your information appears on a photographer's booking page or in their records, contact that photographer first. You can also contact MiniBook if you need help identifying the right path.
Security and retention
We use access controls, encrypted connections and other reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security and meet legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can update much of your information in the app. You can permanently delete your MiniBook account from Business Settings. Account deletion removes the account and its synced businesses, clients, bookings, packages and uploaded branding, subject to any limited retention required by law or for security.
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing hello@minibook.com.au. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as MiniBook develops. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
